How did you find The Hunger Games, LizzyDarcy ? Was it readable?
I think young-adult stuff is easy reading for starters.
Any of the Harry Potter saga could do, or, if those are too burnt, then Alcatraz Versus The Evil Librarians or other from the saga.
Ender's Game is an easy one too, short sentences, very simple.
Ready Player One...

We can build a list of expected-to-be-easy readings and see.
I read "The Hunger Games" some years ago and it was easy to undetstand. Of Harry Potter I read the 3 first books and it was readable too, it has a lot of invented word but its not difficult.

About building a list of easy readings I think it's a great idea. @LizzyDarcy, if you open that thread we can go there and let this one for book comments [emoji39]

I've read a lot of books in English without any problem, but this maybe because of the new words or whatever, i have to change into Spanish. But I think we could read almost any book we want.

The Hunger Games, i've already read it, @kiraya do you remember you brought them from United Kingdom?
Harry Potter, too, I read it in English.
Ender's Game i read it in spanish, but i read it.
Alcatraz Versus the evil librarians, i don't know it.
We can go to the other thread and propose there books we want to read.
I think the four of us like Fantasy, so fantasy books

Of course I remember! That is why I asked, just for reference. If The Hunger Games was hard, then we need to go very soft.
Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians, seems to be a parody of Harry Potter story. I think they have a saga as well. The humour tone might add certain level of complexity for not native readers.

Fantasy OK!

I think there was a thread to talk about MC in English. We can chat there and choose our next book :D

I'm only reading Six of Crows at night and I'm very tired to read for a long time, but I'm having so much fun with it
