So... Why no comment his book in English? :) too.

Charles Dickens has been one of the most important english writer.

And, it's not the same, reading an author on his own Language :)

Would u?

I think that his descriptions are more powerful and colorful in english than translated. :D I can´t explain why, but i find more easy to sympathise with some feelings or troubles of the characters. :D

That's it Aliesa!

Dickens knew how to make a "comic" picture of the english society, this society is still having the same characteristic of those one.

The people are still having the same way of mind in some things.

Dickens know perfectly take the worst things of the society and show as with an interesting and sometimes amazing way.

Now I'm reading "Nicholas Nickleby" and, with "David Copperfield" is one of my favorites books by Dickens.

and this Yorkshire Accent! Thanks god! I'm speaking with people whose have this accent every day! cause is like Andalusian in Spain!

I didn't know that about the yorkshire accent, although I lived there a little time, but I didn't notice it, how curious! You'll never go to sleep without a new knowledge :3

Also, out from offtopic, is nice to see this post here, because a couple of days ago I bought "Great Expectations" and I can't wait to read it entirely! I'll comment about it as soon as I start it ^^
