Eat, Pray, Love - Elizabeth Gilbert
Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia is a 2006 memoir by American author Elizabeth Gilbert. The memoir chronicles the author's trip around the world after her divorce and what she discovered during her travels. The book remained on The New York Times Best Seller list for 187 weeks. The movie rights for the memoir were purchased by Columbia Pictures. The film version, which stars Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem, was released in theaters on August 13, 2010.
At 32 years old, Elizabeth Gilbert was educated, had a home, a husband, and a successful career as a writer. She was, however, unhappy in her marriage and initiated a divorce. She then embarked on a rebound relationship that did not work out, leaving her devastated and alone. After finalizing her difficult divorce, she spent the next year traveling the world.
She spent four months in Italy, eating and enjoying life ("Eat"). She spent three months in India, finding her spirituality ("Pray").She ended the year in Bali, Indonesia, looking for "balance" of the two and fell in love with a Brazilian businessman ("Love").

Thanks for the thread, Aben
I bought this book years ago and haven't started it yet. Do you find it easy to read?

Re: Eat, Pray, Love - Elizabeth Gilbert
Finished.
I have liked this novel very much, because the thread is interesting. A woman, who lives her life very superficial, and she is getting divorced from his husband in New York. Afther that, she travels to Italy to study Italian, but her depression grows inside, therefore she moves to Indonesia and she enters to a monatery. So, she learns meditation and she start to change thanks to a process very attractive.
Definitely, I recommend this novel because the story is very common and you can read in Englsh this novel to improve the reading. I think that the author utilises a English very easy. At least, for me!,

Try to read this novel, but I'm sure that the main character is very different than the others women of my country, for example.
