Larousse, I've just look in my ebook and I am Legend only have 136 pages. Late May for my it's ok. I hope I've finished "The edge of Eternity" at that time.

Some years ago I read Fatherland in Spanish, and I enjoyed it . The issue of what would have happened if the Nazis had won the war is very attractive.. I think middle or late June it's a good date.

So, to be more concrete: mariki said she was interested in Matheson's, too. We could start with that one by March 20th, as DarkLady suggested, and leave Fatherland for late June. What do you think? :D

I guess it depends on the edition. It's a short book, anyway :)

I'm in with I'm a Legend. I've been told that there are some important differences between the movie and the book, one of them, the appearance of the protagonist  Apparently, they are completely different

Anyway… March or May?? In May I think that I can. In March, probably not :?

Hahaha... yes, in the other movie (the omega man) the protagonist was Charlton Heston.

Wait... Are we talking about the same book?

I'm talking about the one by Will Smith. Isn't that one? :?

Berenice, Harry Potter is a saga which its first books were addreseed for young people. I'm not sure about the vocabulary or the type of language that we are going to find in Matherson. But, give it a try!! It's quite short and most of the times, when I read something in English, the first pages are the more difficult, but soon I get into the story and the rest is easier

What a film!!!!I always recall
the scene when he has to kill his dog, Sam. It's a really sorrowful scene.
I haven't read Harry Potter, but I think that, providing you don't have any problem with it, you'll be able to read I am Legend. I am now reading Ken Follett in English, when I started it, soon I was surprised that I was understanding most of the text.

Diruizp! Please, hide that part!

There might be someone who hasn't read the book or seen the movies.

Yes, Mariki. I've seen the three cinema versions of the book: The Omega Man, Last man standing and I am Legend.

The book was written in 1954. I must admit I only knew it after having seen Charlton Heston's movie. I adored it.

It's only that I started to doubt, thinking there might be another book on the same name. (And also wasn't sure of the original title of Matheson's work)

But, yes, we are talking about the same one. And that's why I said that the main character was "slightly" different:
