I'm very fan of Harry Potter and I've read the novels in English. I hope you enjoy it, Mochuelo.
Re: English books miniclubs 2015
I don't think anyone did finally read the book, or at least join the MC. If anyone is interested, we could reschedule the MCPinkClouD escribió:Fatherland I think I didn't read it.

The HP books (the first ones) are good books to start reading. I wouldn't translate everything because the reading that way is much heavier and slow, I would translate only the main words you don't understand and obstruct you the reading. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. If anyone else joins you and you want to schedule a MC, just sayMochuelo escribió:I hope understand all, but i want traduce vocabulary too.

For being the moderator of this subforum. Congrats for having more worklarousse86 escribió:Congrats why?Ayrween escribió: By the way, congrats, Larousse
I agree with Larousse, when I read in English I don't translate everything. It's very dull and slow. I only look it up in the dictionary when it's a very important word that makes you don't understand the text. If not, I try to guess from the context.

Re: English books miniclubs 2015
It's true, we dont write too much round here... Maybe we can try doing MC's every two or three months...
Mochuelo, I agree with the rest, dont look for every word you dont understand, just try to do it when that word is important and you cant guess the meaning by the context. And, of course, take a look on internet for the "special" words in the saga as you may need them in the rest of the books and those are gonna be the difficult ones
I havent read Fatherhood. In fact, I think I have never heard of it

Re: English books miniclubs 2015
I've just started reading The Bat by Jo Nesbo. There is MC in Mistery forum, but I'm going to reading in English. I've only read the first two chapters and I think there is easy to understand. So if I like this one, I'll follow with the saga in English.
Re: English books miniclubs 2015
Mochuelo, if you've already read the books in Spanish it would be easier.
I'm reading Matilda now, it's not difficult to understand.
